Colonel Mark Pestana retired from the US Air Force as a Command Pilot with over 4000 hours of flight time, and is currently a NASA Research Pilot at Edwards AFB, CA. He is also an award-winning artist. Mark specializes in aviation and space art, but is also an accomplished painter of landscapes and seascapes. Mark also has the distinction of designing eight Space Shuttle mission patches for the astronaut crews. Mark is a member of the American Society of Aviation Artists and the U.S. Air Force Art Program. His paintings are displayed in various galleries, museums, corporations, and the Pentagon.
